BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Hal Calhoun, Chairman of the Board, Managing Director Menlo Ventures

Mr. Calhoun joined Menlo Ventures in 2000. Prior to Menlo Ventures, he was one of the early employees at ONI Systems (ONIS), a leading optical communications equipment manufacturer, where he served in a number of roles, most recently as senior vice president of product marketing. Previously, he held various market development positions in the Optical Networks division at Nortel Networks and was Senior Manager of Broadband Transport Planning at Fujitsu Network Communications. At Menlo, Mr. Calhoun focuses on investments in leading companies in the information technology sector. His recent investments and board seats include Bluesocket, GTronix, Invidi, KeyEye, Movaz Networks, Neterion, Rivulet, Santur, Stretch, Tablus, and Quellan. Hal is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology (B.S and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering), where his graduate work focused on photonic semiconductor materials, devices, and systems.

Aaron Cheatham, Partner, JAFCO Ventures

Mr. Cheatham joined JAFCO Ventures as a Partner in 2006. He has more than 15 years of venture capital, financial advisory and technology industry experience. Much of this experience has been focused on semiconductor, communications infrastructure and wireless technology companies. Prior to joining JAFCO Ventures, Aaron spent six years at Mobius Venture Capital, was a Vice President and founding employee of Epoch Partners and was a Vice President in in Merrill Lynch's Technology Investment Banking Group. Mr. Cheatham began his career in Silicon Valley as a technical sales engineer at Advanced Micro Devices, where he gained valuable operating experience through his interaction with leading workstation manufacturers and their contract manufacturers. He received his M.B.A. from the Anderson School at UCLA in 1996 and his B.S. in electrical engineering from Cornell University in 1991.

David Mooring, Board Director

Mr. Mooring is a 25 year semiconductor veteran. Joining Rambus in 1991 as the vice president of marketing and sales and served in a variety of executive roles at the company, including president from 1999 to 2004. Previously, he served as vice president of marketing and sales at Vitesse Semiconductor. Mr. Mooring held various sales and marketing management positions at Intel Corporation. He holds a B.S. degree in Economics from Santa Clara University, an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University and an M.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California.

Hubert R. Engelbrechten, CEO, Board Director

Mr. Engelbrechten, GTronix´s CEO, and Director, has spent the last 25 years in analog semiconductors with key management positions at National Semiconductor, Raytheon and Fairchild. Most recently, Engelbrechten was general manager of Fairchild´s IC business, which reached about $800M in revenue.

Paul Hasler, Chief Science Officer, Board Director

Dr. Paul Hasler is one of the founders and currently serves as Chief Science Officer; he is also a Director. An associate Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology, Dr. Hasler´s pioneering efforts in analog technology began in the late 1980s when he was a PhD student of industry luminary Carver Mead while at CalTech.
